The Red Hot 20

First flights are encouraging and the Red Hot 20 lifts 300g in Bft 2 reliably.

Measured up it looks a lot like other foils but the key differences are in the fabric and the chord profile:

The plan reveals a taper from front to back, steeper but similar to the taper Ralf Beutnagel uses on the KAPfoil.

In 8-12mph it lifts 480g gently, slowly raising the load on a wide J curve. Surface temperature was 30 deg today and that means unstable. The kite was shifting across the principal direction with lulls causing the camera to drop. I flew between 2 and 4pm.
